Thankful
Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful, and I am so very thankful for the life that I have, I have a wonderful loving husband, a sweet son, a nice house and a good job. This is my second Thanksgiving as a mother and I still can't believe that it is true, I still think that I am going to wake up from a dream. Jesus has truly blessed me/us with everything that we have and with AJ.

AJ and his new toy!
Well AJ got a new last Saturday and boy let me tell you this child loves loves loves this new toy! He literally does not put it down. He has played with it non-stop since he got it. I found it at KMart and it turns out that they have one at his daycare school and that is why he loves it so much.
Here he is with it, the best $10 toy I have ever bought him!

AJ and his new Elmo Chair
My heart just overflows with love for my son, I think sometimes it could just burst! I thank God for him each and everyday and I just can't believe how fast he is growing. It seems like just yesterday he was a little baby still, now he is already 15 months old and is such a little character. He is so full of life and personality.
He loves to sit on the floor and read books. We read them to him and often times he will go to his book bin and pull out a book and then sit on the floor and start reading it. So I have been saying to Gilbert we need to get Hito a little chair or bean bag or something, because he isn't tall enough to crawl up onto the couch yet. So this morning when I was at WalMart I saw this cute Elmo chair and I thought it was perfect for him. As soon as I got home and he seen it, he started talking up a storm about it, he was sitting in his high chair at the time eating his oatmeal and my goodness when he was done he practically leaped out it! As soon as he was cleaned up he went straight for hi book bin, grabbed a book and headed for the chair. It was so cute to see him take a seat and look at his book.

History has been made! And He will be Amazing!
I am so proud to be an American today! I feel hopeful for tomorrow for the future of my family, for my son's life, for everyones life! President Obama will make change, it won't happen overnight, it will take time, but he will along with the senate and the house controlled by Democrats, and America we will CHANGE this country for the better! America should be proud.

Raised a Democrat and raising a Democrat!
Despite being sick with double ear infections today, right now AJ is feeling okay. He had a looong nap this morning, and finally wanted to eat lunch. Thank you Lord, I was beginning to worry about him not wanting to eat. My poor little hito, he may have to have tubes for his ears. We will see a specialist on the 25th. Well here he is in his Future Democrat shirt that I bought him at the DNC in August. There are three things about my family, we were raised to be Democrats and Catholics! And of course I believe in both. You know I have never ever even thought of switching parties. As a matter of fact, I have never even dated a republican or a non-catholic. Well, I have to get back to AJ, he is needing me.
I am praying like millions of others that Senator Obama will be our President. We need change! We need this country turned around from where it is.
